Raise a glass to tradition
The Niagara Grape and Wine Festival, which originated in1952, now showcases three unique events: the NiagaraWine Festival, held each September; the Niagara Icewine Festival, held in January; and the Niagara New Vintage Festival held each June. From its humble beginning over 50 years ago, a world-class event has evolved. The Niagara Wine Festival hailed as one of the Top 100 Events in North America by the ABA, has twice been named Ontario's Cultural Event of the Year.
Growing in clusters
Each of the festivals have grown in popularity year by year. Last year the Niagara Wine Festival attracted well over a half million visitors and more are expected for next year.

The crown jewel of the Festivals is the award winning Niagara Icewine Festival which began in 1995 when Niagara’s Icewine first garnered international recognition as a world-class wine. This event series offers programs from black tie dinners, educational wine and food seminars, to outdoor Icewine tastings. The Icewine Classic offers discerning guests an exclusive compelling Niagara Icewine experience that includes five-star accommodation, one-onone interaction with winemakers, international chefs and artist Gordon Halloran.
